Philosophy
A resident of the Villa Médicis in literature (2005 and 2006), he was programme director at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (2004) and at the Musée Picasso, Antibes (2005) and has collaborated as curator, speaker or moderator of debates with many international institutions: the ECAL in Lausanne, the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, the CCA in Kytakyushu, Japan, the Centre International d’Art et du Paysage in Vassivière and the Musée national Marc Chagall in Nice. He is the author of numerous essays on arts and literature.

Nicolas de Staël, un automne, un hiver(Paris, Hazan, 2006) et Celia Misteriosa, a three-volume work for the moment designed with the artists Koo Jeong-A, Laura Erber and Jean Sabrier (Rome, Villa Medici 2007-2010)
He founded and directs the magazine “Chorus una costellazione”.
He has translated many authors into Italian (Jean-Christophe Bailly, Edmond Jabès, Alain de Libera, Gherasim Luca, Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe, Roger Laporte, Michel Leiris, Tomas Maia, Jean-Luc Nancy, Jean-Marie Pontevia) and, with Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe, into French, the auschwitz stories of the Italian poet Giorgio Caproni, Cartes postales d’un voyage en pologne (Bordeaux, 2004).
As a member of the association artistes & associés, he has for several years pursued a policy of direct collaboration with authors and has thus participated in several artists’ projects (with Koo Jeong-A, Jerôme Combier, Elein Fleiss, M/M, Eryck Rocha, to name but a few examples).
